As a standard, THM cranks use a 30 mm spindle. In order to satisfy an ever growing market of new bottom bracket standards, THM has created several bottom brackets to be used with their Clavicula, M3 cranks, and 68 mm wide mountain bike cranks in the following bottom bracket shell sizes.
Fits standard sized bottom bracket shells which use 1.375" x 24 tpi threads.
Fits BB30 frame shells with a 42 mm ID.
Fits PF30 frame shells with a 46 mm ID
This Shimano-standard bottom bracket (found on bicycles made by Scott, Giant, and others) ingeniously combines the press fit cup and bearing into a single unit; the steel outer race of the cartridge bearing is precisely machined to the BB92 press fit standard.
Specialized's (SBI) OSBB standard is proprietary and unique to Specialized bikes, and exists in a few different dimensional standards. This THM bottom bracket with work with 46 mm ID OSBB shells (generally 2012 and newer mountain frames)
Upgrades are available for all THM bottom brackets except for the BB92. When purchased with a bottom bracket, these high quality HSC hybrid or full ceramic cartridge bearings will be professionally installed at no extra charge.
