SRAM's RED chain features the innovative Flattop design for a slimmer, stronger profile. Its hard chrome-plated inner plates and rollers, combined with HollowPin technology and machined outer plates, enhance durability and power transfer while reducing weight by ~13g. Compatible with RED eTap AXS, it ensures smooth shifting and includes the Flattop PowerLock for easy maintenance. This chain represents SRAM's commitment to peak drivetrain performance.
Our "waxed" chain option provides a thorough, multi-step preparation process including cleaning, drying, waxing, curing, and inspection for optimal performance. Since the wax process takes a few days, we recommend having an extra pre-waxed chain on hand. Enjoy smoother operation and reduced maintenance with our expertly prepared waxed chains
