Lezyne Torque Drive

The Lezyne Torque Drive achieves an outstanding balance of usability and portability. 

The black anodized aluminum main tool body measures approximately 5.5 inches long (140mm) and is no wider than .75 inches (20mm) in diameter at it’s widest point (most sections along its length are much smaller in diameter), making this tool very packable.  It’s unique gold anodized T-handle threads apart and can be removed from the main tool body, allowing the tool to be more packable/portable.  Despite it’s small size, this beam style torque tool has an incredible range of 2nm to 10nm, which covers most fasteners on any bike.  The magnetized bit holder keeps the included tool bits held firmly in place, alleviating frustrating searches for dropped bits.  A wide array (11 total) of tool bits are included: hex bits in 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, torx bits in T10, T25, and T30,  as well as flat and phillips-head bits.  As a beam-style torque wrench, this tool is extremely user friendly, simply torque the fastener until the hash mark for the desired torque spec lines up with the indicator on the tool head, and that’s it.  To complete the package, this tool comes housed in a zippered nylon soft case complete with cut-outs for the tool and bits as well as an extra storage pouch for any additional bits or other small items.  All parts of the package feature a very nice finish and make a very useful and handsome set.  Weighing in at 179 grams for the complete package including bits and storage case, it will easily slip into a backpack, jersey pocket, and many saddle bags (although it might be a tight fit in some small saddle bags).  While extremely portable, this tool is equally at home at the tool bench and makes a great “double duty” option.  The Lezyne Torque Drive Kit is one of the nicest torque kits available, not too mention a great value; when looking for a portable yet versatile torque tool, this one should be at the top of the list.
