KCNC's CB3 introduces a unique improvement to the already popular C7 road brake. The cage surrounding the brake is not purely aesthetic, it increases the stiffness of the brake while decreasing flex during braking. This decrease in flex translates into an improvement in modulation.
The CB3 uses a symmetric dual pivot design, similar to the C7, maintaining the performance and adjustability of that system. The CB3 however, guided by the external cage introduces much less flex in both the pivots and the brake arm itself.
To properly install the CB3 brake set, cable and housing cutters, as well as 3 mm and 4 mm hex wrenches, are required. KCNC provides five different length mounting nuts for maximum frame and fork compatibility. Detailed installation instructions are provided with purchase. We recommend that these brakes be installed by an experienced mechanic.

Super light and pretty strong

They are not as strong as Shimano 105's, but I have large strong hands and so braking is not an issue for me, and at 165#'s, it just adds modulation, and you can still stop quickly. If you have weak hands, they might not be strong enough for some.
If you are much heavier than me, you also might want to pass on these, unless you never ride downhills.
The super wide cam release is really nice.
In place of normal smooth operation, here, there are 10 locking positions, from fully closed to open.
These brakes are beautiful to me and they make my bike standout, and they really are light as hell.
