Product Description
The OS-168 stem from FSA is an undeniable value, especially when considering the two-part machining process involved in its production. The manufacturing process begins with 3D forging of the sturdy 6061-T6 aluminum. This forging process improves the material properties by allowing alignment of the grain structure, resulting in the finished product having superior properties compared to those found in the alloy composition itself. After forging, the stem is carefully CNC machined to finish the manufacturing process, allowing precise control over material removal to reduce weight without compromising performance or durability. The finishing step is a sandblasted anodizing, leaving a sharp but subtle textured black finish with white logos. The OS-168 is a very robust stem although the weight is still a very respectable 127 grams (70mm). Available in 70mm x 17 degrees, the OS-168 is suitable for all disciplines from road to all-mountain riding.
