Tubeless technology has made our lives as cyclists much easier, allowing us to run lower pressures while simultaneously reducing the risk of flatting. While most tubeless components are relatively easy to set up, attention to proper fitment of valves, tape, and other tubeless components can make all the difference between a fuss-free experience versus frustration with seepage etc. To ensure optimal results when converting their rims to tubeless, Easton has developed their own tubeless valve. This valve is a straight-forward, no-frills affair; featuring brass construction, these 48 mm valves have a silver finish and weigh in at 9 grams each (including top cap, locknut, and o-ring). The rubber base has been specifically shaped for perfect fitment with Easton rim channels, reducing the chance of sealant seeping into the rim through the valve hole. To make adding sealant and seating tires as easy as possible, these valves feature a removable core and include a core removal tool. While optimized for Easton rims and wheels, these valves will also work in rims with inner channels similar to Easton's. These valves are sold individually.
