We recommend having your Tux seatpost installed by a skilled mechanic using a properly calibrated torque wrench. It is imperative that all torque ratings for your seat collar and frame be followed while installing. We recommend the use of an anti-slip compound such as Park Tool's Supergrip Compound on the seatpost, decreasing the chance of the seatpost slipping, and a light coating of a quality bicycle grease, such as ProGold's EPX Grease, on the bolt threads for all carbon fiber seatposts.
