Fun Extralite Build

Fun Extralite Build

One of our first builds this year was a 10lb Extralite. Come have a peek with us.

A fun light weight project, with a mashup of fancy parts.

Not many things are prettier than a 3k weave in the sunlight. The Schmolke bars are a personal favorite, and it goes so nicely with the Extralite CH-02 mount.

The HyperCap is the 'figurehead' of almost every super lite project we do.

One of my favorite small parts that we carry are these HyperSpacers. These bad boys are 3D printed from nylon...would you beleive that a 25mm spacer made from 3D printed nylon is under 2 grams?!

I spy a Fair Wheel Bikes V3 cage. So minimal. So attractive. So below 8 grams per cage.

There are alot of carbon cranks out there, but the THM Clavicula SE is the holy grail of exotic carbon cranks.

Alligator I-Links were the housing of choice. A few years ago i put I-Links on one of my bikes, and i am NEVER going back.

The branding comes out in the sun really nicely.

There are fewer and fewer choices out there for rim brakes options, especially for builds like this. The THM Fibula is usually our go to in the world of rim brakes. They are impressive in that even the return spring is crafted from carbon. Excellent braking power, and you can use them on rims from 19mm-30mm wide.

We rounded off the insanely lite cockpit with a Schmolke TLO Seatpost, and an Alpitude Gardena Saddle.

Builds like these are fund because there is really alot of room cor creativity and individuality.

If you want to start piecing together a light weight project, and need guidance, ideas, help, whatever it may be, please feel free to conatact us and we will be happy to start making your ideas and dreams a reality.
