Factor 02 VAM

Factor 02 VAM

Factors paint jobs are always spot on. Last week we built up this 02 VAM with some of our favorite parts, and made sure to snap a couple of pictures afterwards. Come look!

We're lucky enough to build our fair share of Factor 02 VAM's. Were not complaining. Nice and light, great geometry, a frame that opens the doorway to creativity on custom builds, and whether you live for the hilly rides, or are simply a 'light weight connoisseur', the 02 VAM checks most if not all of the boxes.

Bjōrn handlebars, and Extralite Hyperstem's have have been a recent favorite for me when it comes to cockpit set up.

Sram Red levers and derailleurs. The newly redesigned lever is a thing of beauty, and thought out so well. From one finger braking, to the textured design of the shift paddles, SRAM was on fire when they developed these.

For alot of folks who want to build a super light bike, power meters get left off because every little gram counts. Enter the THM Clavicula SE Power Meter crank. Full carbon crank (even carbon spindle), with a spindle based power meter, and you will be sub 330 grams with the strandard crankset, and an impressive 320 grams for the compact variety. These cranks are ALWAYS the right choice.

Extralite Cyber SPD3+ hubset laced to Extralite rims. Extralite has a whole plethora of housebuilt wheels sets.

The V3 cages look good on literally every single bike we put them on. 7.5 grams, so minimalist, and that carbon weave in the sunlight looks so cool.

Cool parts aside, the paint job was probably my favorite element. Factor is one of the best when it comes to truly unique paint schemes.

Really cool graphic of storm clouds on the inside of the fork and chainstays.

Wowza
