Arundel's Chrono II aerodynamic bottle and carbon cage combo was created as a response to the UCI's enforcement of their 3:1 airfoil rule, which rendered the original Chrono illegal for use in competition. Fortunately, this redesign provided Arundel an opportunity to add a few notable improvements to the second-generation Chrono. The new 20-ounce bottle features a dimpled surface which can help reduce drag in high-wind scenarios, with the added benefit of improved grip for the rider. Additionally, the cage arms and lower support have been lengthened to better secure the bottle, especially over rough terrain.
The Chrono II cage is equipped with two sets of mounting holes for increased frame compatibility, and includes a pair of steel mounting bolts.
