A23 Rim Details
The design of Velocity's A23 rim is based on their popular Aerohead race rim. However, the A23 differs dramatically in the width of its sidewalls. With the bead hooks spaced 3-4 mm wider than standard road rims, tires mounted on these rims form a rounder profile. This results in lower rolling resistance combined with increased cornering control and improved aerodynamics, closely mimicking the performance benefits of tubular tires. The newest iteration of the A23 rim is tubeless tire compatible with the proper setup, and works with standard inner tubes.
