Detail
The Mag 180 has long held as the standard by which all lightweight rear hubs were measured. The 180 has recently been surpassed in weight by several manufacturers, yet remains one of the most affordable lightweight rear hubs. Weight savings features on the 180 include a machined aluminum freehub body, a stiff 15 mm aluminum axle, and titanium drive ring. The Mag 180 also features Tune's proprietary XOT bearing, a combination 6802/6902 bearing with a shared inner race to increase stiffness at the freehub and hub shell joint.
Assembly
