Tune's Kong X-12 hub is in response to the X-12, or 142+, standard being used by companies like Trek, Specialized and Santa Cruz. The Kong X-12 is built upon the already popular Kong rear hub design, which is one of lightest rear disc hubs available today. At 208g, the Kong X-12 features a large 17 mm aluminum axle, an aluminum freehub body, and durable hardened steel pawls. In typical Tune fashion, these hubs are available in a host of bright anodized colors as well as powdercoated white.
