Recon's series of aluminum cassettes are among the lightest available in the world. They feature a steel 11 tooth cog mated to a single hollow machined aluminum block of the remaining 9 cogs. This judicious use of material in a minimalist design produces the lightest possible "race day" cassette, ideal for use in hill climbs or special events. These cassettes are available in chromium silver and titanium nitride "rainbow" finishes and include lightweight aluminum lockrings.
