Nokon aluminum housing systems provide a superior alternative to traditional housings of steel and plastic. Nokons are lighter, more attractive, and offer increased performance advantages for both shift and brake systems. This unique, patented system is composed of 9mm jointed aluminum sections which are strung together on a low-friction glass teflon liner. The nature of these jointed sections allow them to be run in shorter sections with tighter cable bends than traditional housing. And while the housing is much more laterally flexible, it is extremely resistant to linear compression from cable pull. This results in quicker, more precise shifting and a more powerful braking response. With both systems, the amount of hand stregth required to shift or brake is reduced as well. Other benefits over traditional systems include:

This Nokon housing kit features a complete set of housing sections, liners, stainless steel cables, cable tips, and frame savers for two (front and rear) Campagnolo or SRAM shift systems. The aluminum housing sections are available in five different anodized colors, or in powdercoated white. The liners are easily cut and the sections reorganized to permit custom sizing.
