New Ultimate's scandium-aluminum mountain handlebar is one of the lightest available, rivaling many carbon bars at a mere 120 grams. The handlebar tubing is reinforced at the stem clamp section and aggressively butted toward the outer sections. Despite the super thin wall thickness, the scandium material is sufficiently strong enough to support the use of bar ends. This bar features fairly standard dimensions for a flat handlebar; a medium 600 mm width combined with an ergonomically friendly 5 degree sweep, and an oversize 31.8 mm stem clamp. New Ultimate logos and tilt marks are laser etched on the bar's bead blasted and black anodized surface.

Installation
Tools required will depend on the stem, shifter, brake lever, and bar end models. Use of a torque wrench is strongly recommended, especially when installing bar ends. This handlebar may be cut to a narrower width if desired.
