Detail
Lightning Cycle Dynamics' carbon crankset breaks new ground by taking the best aspects of modern crank design and combining them into a complete, highly customizable package. Using an oversize 30 mm spindle and hollow, high-pressure molded carbon arms, Lightning has achieved just about the lightest weight possible while making no compromise in strength or stiffness. The cranks are finished in an attractive 3k carbon weave with stealthy black anodized cups, spindle, spider, and preload adjuster.

Lightning cranksets are manufactured in California, USA.

Ordering
The modular nature of the Lightning crankset, combined with its low volume production, allows for a multitude of custom options. Any option not listed for purchase here can be special ordered; please contact us for more information. The crank arms can be manufactured in twelve lengths, from 160 to 190 mm. Six bottom bracket options allow for compatibility with nearly all modern framesets, with ceramic bearings available as an option. Lightning's interchangeable spiders are available in two options; a 94 BCD double chainring spider, and a reversible 104/64 BCD spider. This reversible spider is compatible with either triple or double chainring setups, depending on its orientation.

Lightning cranksets are supplied with BSA bottom bracket cups and spacers for 68, 73, and E-Type bottom bracket requirements. Chainrings are not included.

Installation
The required installation tools (a 6 mm hex 1/2" ratchet extension and rubber grip pad) and detailed installation instructions are included.
