Lightning Crank Details

The long awaited crank from Lightning has finally seen the light of day. Often copied, replicated and licensed, Lightning's revolutionary crank is now available with a number of bottom bracket options to adapt to most frame standards. The crank features carbon arms with an aluminum spider, joined in the center by a Hirst Joint (ala Campagnolo). The bottom bracket cups are secured by a genius knurled design to aid in the threading process, no superfluous installation tool required. Lightning claims a q-factor of 149mm, however the pedal threads 2.5mm into the arm on either side, reducing the q-factor to a scant 144mm. Available in a number of lengths, as standard 130BCD or compact 110BCD, Clydesdale, and with ceramic bearing upgrades. Additionally, compatible with Quarq's CinQo power meter.

Please note that each crankset comes standard with a BSA standard English bottom bracket. If necessary, bottom bracket options are available for BB30, Press Fit 30, and BB86 specific frame standards.
