The KinLin XR-300 is our favorite aluminum rim for a variety of applications. These rims feature a 30mm aerodynamic cross section and a weight most competitors can't match at half the depth. An added bonus of the deep cross section is strength, making the XR-300 well suited for stronger, heavier riders, or applications where total wheel stiffness is an important consideration. The XR-300 has developed an impressive reputation within the cycling community for combining excellent ride quality and durability.
Kinlin rims are extruded from a super light Niobium-Aluminum alloy and joined with a high quality pinned joint. Finish work includes a high gloss anodization and machined sidewalls.
The XR-300 rim is also available as a
wheelset built with DT Swiss hubs and DT Swiss Aerolite spokes.
Assembly
