KR1 Headset Details

KCNC's Radiant series headsets are an excellent option for upgrade over a frame's stock headset, or as a replacement for a worn headset. The KR1 tapered integrated headset features high quality stainless steel cartridge bearings and CNC machined 6061 aluminum hardware, all within a low stack height, light weight package. Included with each headset is a matching top cap and bolt and 1-1/8 inch star nut.

Installation

The KR1 headset's crown race is split for quick and easy installation. Included with each headset are three .2 mm shims for adjusting the clearance of the headset's upper bearing cover. With the exception of the included star nut, no specialty tools are required for installation of a KR1 headset.
