SRAM created the Press Fit 30 bottom bracket standard as a response to some of the nagging BB30 design problems. Where a BB30 bottom bracket uses a direct fit bearing and circlip design, PF30 houses the bearings in plastic cups which press into a wider 46 mm bottom bracket shell. This updated design allows for simpler installation and noise-free operation without changing crankset designs.

HSC's PF30 bottom bracket represents an affordable, high quality aftermarket option for PF30 framesets paired with BB30 cranksets. These bottom brackets are CNC machined from high strength delrin plastic and equipped with HSC's hybrid ceramic bearings.

Ordering
PF30 bottom brackets are only compatible with frames designed for this standard, but are compatible with all BB30 standard cranksets. Feel free to contact us directly for technical questions.

Installation/Assembly
We recommend that PF30 bottom brackets be professionally installed. In the absence of a specific PF30 installation tool, a standard headset press may be used.
