Shimano is one of the few manufacturers who has yet to embrace a 30 mm bottom bracket spindle standard, and for BB30 frame owners who wish to equip Shimano cranksets, this creates a compatibility problem. With their BB30 bottom bracket adapter cups, HSC presents a high quality, semi permanent solution to this problem. This aluminum adapter cup system, equipped with hybrid ceramic bearings, simultaneously widens the shell and reduces the spindle interface of a BB30 bottom bracket to allow full compatibility with Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets.

Ordering
HSC BB30 adapters are only compatible on frames with 42 mm ID BB30 shells, paired with Hollowtech II cranksets. Feel free to contact us directly for technical questions. HSC provides an alternative solution for use with a pre-installed BB30 bottom bracket with their BB30 Reducer Sleeves.

Installation/Assembly
To avoid frame damage, we recommend that these BB30 bottom bracket adapters be professionally installed using a proper bearing press.
