Tapatalk, forum reader on smart phone !

Hello

It's easy to setup, all that's needed is something like Tapatalk, which uses a free plugin. As far as I know, there are no downsides. . .

I just installed Tapatalk on my two forum Multisports-forum.dk and Beoforum.dk

It works incredibly well and it takes no time to install it on the forum. In 10 minutes it took me, hope you will install it here on this forum

You need to upgrade your phone. A web browser works great with a modern phone.
Seriously though, I did look into it briefly a long time ago and didn't like it much then. I guess I'm old school but I'm not that fond of "apps" instead of standards compliant web browsers. I guess we should check it out again. We'll see what happens. I would have to write some code to filter out those extremely annoying "sent from my XXX using YYY".

Why are you afraid of a new initiative.

This forum could use some life again. There is scarcely posted some new posts anymore.

For 3 years ago there was a really good life in the forum, could not it be fun if it came again.

If 10min work could change that, but it does not change anything unless you try.

I agree that taptalk is a great app. I also agree that this forum has all but died unfortunately. Furthermore, Weight weenies has become more like road bike forum. Light weight bikes and tuning of components has taken a back seat to general bike questions.

Just typed a long reply but then I deleted it. And then I did it again. Let me just say that the topics of both how we run this forum and the state of forums in general are interesting. And much could be said and maybe I will say something someday.
