Yes the steerer has been cut since these photos were taken, when i find my camera charger ill take some more with it completely finished.

That looks really nice!

If I were you I wouldn't worry about the weight too much, as long as it rides nicely.

But there are a some pieces you could exchange to shed some weight.
"Nothing compares to the simple pleasures of a bike ride," said John F. Kennedy, a man who had the pleasure of Marilyn Monroe.

Sweet bike! Welcome!!

What do you know about the Team frame? Is it from Tennessee, 3/2.5 or 6/4, straight gauge / butted???

enjoy it!
the problem? could be the nut behind the handlebars.

Don't know too much about the frame. It's 3/2.5. I think it's from around 2007 or 8. From what I've figured out, the "team" frame was what they called that teramo in Australia. I took it for its first decent ride the other day and found it has quite a bit more flex then I anticipated.

Welcome to the forum, that's a beautiful bike you build! If it were just for the sake of loosing weight I wouldn't bother, it looks perfect just like it is :D

Sydney eastern suburbs.

Really liking the look pedals, they give such nice feedback when clipping in compared to shimano pedals.
