BMANX, I just want to tell you thanks for all your online postings on this subject. You have been a great help to me. I have been on a mission to reduce the mass of my SLC since I first built it up. I just dipped under 15lbs (6802g) recently. Jure just built me a CF seat cradle like he built you, and I will be receiving that soon. I also contacted the Ward Spindle people too, to reduce the mass of my Speedplay Zeros. I just really appreciate you sharing all of the work you have done, it makes it easier for me. Thanks for being the innovator.

innovator might be stretching it but I do enjoy building up bikes that are light and if possible different. I have never wanted to have a bike that you could just go down and buy at the corner store. Anyone can do that. I remember riding my Apollo Sport 12 and removing the second levers that used to be on all brakes way back in the day and having my dad grind them off. We then drilled out the brake levers to match the dimples that were on them and matched up the hole size to the dimple size. That had to be back in 86 -87. I have on and off being doing it since then on road bikes. Now that my income level allows me to play a lot more I have been going crazy for the last 5 years. I think one day I will post a thread of all of my builds over the last 5 years.

Danica today. While I love a lady that is dressed up for the ball, I really love a lady that looks sporty and in a pony tail. So her weight has gone up a bit but it is from muscle for sure. FSA cranks with full aero chainrings from Fibre-Lyte. Sent over the spider to have them matched up as perfect as possible. Thanks Stephen. I also put the Arione CX on as I can ride that when I throw on some aerobars. I could not ride the Anteres in the aero position so it is now on the English build and is super comfortable.

The weight as shown is 13.5 lbs but I am going to have to sell the wheels as I need some cash so I will have to part with them and increase her weight some more. So like you did with Victoria, she will be in runners for a bit.

Yup, Vicky has been in runners for more than 6 months now, but a pair of Prada heels are on the horizon for her....

And I wish the same for Danica in the future!

Aerobars are not on yet. I have the HED Clip-lites with the Vantage armrests and shorty extensions. Ti and aluminum bolts. Weight of the bars is around 250g

Have you tried the Fizik tri saddle yet (Tri 2?). I have an urge to get one to see how it compares to my Arione which I love.

Yes I have tried the Tri 2 and was not a big fan of that saddle. If I was racing full on triathlon again, I would not be in a Fizik anyways. Riding the road is strictly Fizik.

The Tri 2 is popular over here, may be through advertising, who knows, but the riders seem to like them. Saddles are a personal choice though.

That is true. I think the COBB cycling saddles are a big hit over here and designed more to be riding in the aero position.

There are a couple of things I need to fix like adding 1-2 links in the shifter housings to allow the front wheel to turn 90 degree each way but I left enough liner to do so. Also need to shim the brakes a bit on the rear so that the toe in is the correct way. It looks great and comes in at 5980g.
