My Isaac has had a lick of paint...

Hi all,

My first post here, but I frequent the Weight Weenies board.

My frame has recently had a new coat of paint done beautifully by Carl at skunkworx: http://www.skunkx.net/page_1882145.html - after it had some damage done to the seat stay and had to be repaired.

Also thanks to Fibre-lyte for the 48T aero chainring.

What's with the silver brake shoes on the front brake? Or maybe that's the camera flash doin' something weird?

The bars are super-comfy pointed up slightly like that - that's how I roll. - And yeah the front brake pads are off my old brakes as the zero gravity brake shoes don't clear the forks. :\

That's a really great looking bike.

The crank is just astounding and the way the rear brake follows the line of the seatstays, awesome.

Finished it today and weighs in at 7.4kg - not bad for a TT bike. Hopefully I should be able to ride it in anger tomorrow as the weather's looking good at long last.

I had the same with mine, these brakes are minimalistic for sure. If you put an extra washer between the fork and the brake you can shim it a little so the pads clear the fork. If you mail 0G I think they'll send you a 'special' washer but really any brake washer would do.

The bike looks really good btw, very nice how you painted the cranks as well
