What hubs are the wheels laced with?

From what I can tell they are the normal dime a dozen chinese job, most likely joytech I'd say. Laced with Cx-ray so that's always good. Had a race on the rear one today and was impressed. Amazingly hollow sounding when you tap them with your fingers too. Must admit though, I thought I'd blown it up, but then realised that I'd neglected to put some tape around the valve extender and it was having its own little dance fiesta.

2010 Lynskey Pro 29. The scale shots did include the seatpost clamp that is 38 grams, the steel waterbottle cage bolts, the heavier dropout designed for a derailleur and the cable guide and bolt. It will be run as a single speed.

They've had one of those at a local shop set up single speed, quite the looker. A co-worker took it out for a good run on some local trails at a demo day and was very impressed.

Man that down tube is really trippy, the option of having a single speed or geared drop outs should be standard on all MTB frames maybe some road ones as well

Picked up a lightly used Polaris Bike Pod for my planned trip to France and Malta later in the year.

It is replacing a locally made Big Foot hard case which has been great over the years for domestic travel. But weighs roughly twice as much as the Polaris!

It's made of molded EVA foam and weighs only 6.7kg, so is meant to be one of the lightest 'hard' cases around. Hopefully it will protect the bike okay and help me avoid excess baggage charges, since from what I can see most international carriers don't have sport luggage allowances anymore and from Australia airlines like to charge big dollars for every kg over!
