You are right Slisk. I like to play with LEGO. I work for LEGO Systems in Denmark. The boxes in the back are not filed with multi-colored Plastic though. We used them when we moved in december

What do you think of your Hope Hoops?

The grips are a bit soft and i am not sure that they will hold up. but ice scrapers are about 20 danish kroner/3.62 dollars each, so it wont be a big loss.

I havent had a chance to try the wheels yet but the build quality seem good. The freehub body is made of aluminum to save weight and i dont how strong it is.

Hope have always had a good (and deserved in my opinion) reputation but funnily enough, despite them being a UK company, I've never used their hubs. I quite liked the idea of some Hope hoops for my own mtb, just haven't got round to buying any yet.

I've used their hubs, and really like them. They stand up to some serious abuse.

From what i hear hope hubs are really good. Some find the DT XR400 rims a bit soft and say that they dent easy.
I have never been hard on wheels so that should not be a problem with me.

FINALLY. The bike is ready.
I just finished setting up the m970 xtr crankset. I had to go trough the annoying process of removing the crankset, because i forgot to take of the small chainring.
I am surprised that the braniacs at shimano had to come up with such a lousy solution to prevent the left arm from loosening
was it ever a problem with the old m960 cranks??
Anyways, I love how the bike feels.
I cant upload any pictures because my one year old son got his hands on the camera and turned it in to useless metal and in seconds.
