I saw this and immediately thought back to around the 2004 presidential election. A friend of mine who was in school in the 60's was talking about how violent things were getting with political unrest around the time the vietnam war and the civil rights movement. He said the rhetoric now is really starting to move the US back in that direction. 6 years later we see this. Let's hope my friend was wrong, this is insane.

It's amazing how quickly the news travels around the world these days. I was watching tv late last night (our time) and this suddenly came up on the BBC world news. Really sad when something like this happens.
