Ok, I come up with aero chainrings only one page ago, and now it's Stephen's idea?

I would never trade in the DA SRM for the Zipp 300s, on a TT build, and I have both. Pimped with a full aero chainring there is barely any metal to be seen, except for the crank arm, and her's even has black and white decals.

Get a disc before changing anything else.

Or a disc cover. The wheelbuilder.com disc covers are less than $100 & (ready for this?) are faster than a Zipp disc. Just slap it on your regular training wheels & you are ready to go. I used to have a Mavic disc & this year I'm using the cover. Cheaper & just as fast.

A knife, a spoon, and a chainring. Very educated guess, and not a bad choice for an upgrade at, but no.

Not sure if Fabian Cancellara would fit a 51 And he'd just be sad when he can't use it @TdF.

He'd be wearing out my nice KMC chain too fast, too, and then bring home filthy SRAM chain from Team.

Then all the fighting when he's my captain in FCL and looses, and then beats my captain in the next race.

It does make sense though. Would fit the p3c nicely and is definetly not something a store has in stock, so that explains the wait.

It's hard to take a pic of the shape, but it looks really sexy in person.

But now I need to find the perfect stem.

I really like the Pro Missile Evo stem, but it is expensive, really heavy (~260g) and the holes it has are meant to go with internal routing of the Missile Evo aero bar, and I'm not sure if I could make it work with the Tula I have.



I am of the opinion that the area behind the stem is not negligible. I could use the Oval aero top cap, but I'm not sure how smooth and elegant it would look, if it doesn't fit the stem just right.
