top forks for 1 inch frames?

I recently got hold of an old GT Edge frame in good condition with beautiful Sandvik(sp?) welds that I want to build up. I've got a pair of Carbone SLs with a brand new Ultegra group set (Extralite cranks instead) with some other Ti finishing bits. However the frame is of the older 1" headset variety and I have a nasty feeling that the Edge/Enve fork I had planned will be on hold for ever. Any recommendations for the next best thing? - I dont want something ultra lightweight and noodly, but something that will dissipate road buzz in a similar way to the enve (based on all the eulogies I've read)?

Should you bump in to one I really like the Colnago Star. Alternative to the Enve might be an Easton SC90?

I have a pair of Easton EC90SL forks on my work bench that have a 1" steerer that I just removed from an older Giant TCR in which I put the original forks back on the frame and sold the bike. Let me know what length of steerer you need. I believe the steerer 210mm or something like that.

Cool, how old/how much mileage have they had?

The Easton EC90 SL fork is the curved version and I would say it has a maximum of 2000km on the forks as they were on my 4th bike that was only used for commuting to and from work and even at that it was not the only bike I used. For the last 2 years they have been on the same frame but used as a single speed. Forks I believe are 4 years old but might be 5. I can send pictures since they are off the frame now and if you are interested we should do this on PM instead of tmain forum.

It's been a pain in the a** trying to find one as loads of websites have them listed but have empty inventories. I really wnated a curved one but I may have found something on the bay.

Multigrooves have you looked at the Columbus Minimal Fork 1" or 1 1/8" non integrated ?

I've ordered a an Easton ec90 straight. I hadn't seen these (Minimal) at all, thanks. Funny no one seems to be listing their weight. I'm guessing its 500+ in which case I'd rather get the Wound up with the black anodised parts tbh.

I have two of these forks and they are under 350g cut to 210g. If I remember correctly they are around 378-380g uncut.

"Cycling Plus" when they reviewed the Minimal listed them as 329g but .. that was the 1 1/8" and also may have been the manufacturers weight! The only weight I've seen online is 355g on a quick search. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention, it's an unknown but if you was really struggling worth a punt.

I will weight the two I have at home but that will not be the stock weight.

my EC90 SL (straight) is 380, cut to 260mm if i recall well

I'm trying to find a 1" ec90 everywhere. I need at least 254 mm. Anyone know where I can find one?

The old Look HSC.. unpainted and with a shorter steerer it would be sub-300g.
