Will be riding this exact set up today after I change out the pads when I get home. I was going to put on my other wheels for the winter but will ride it at least one day this way.

Absolutely superb Brian, those wheels definitely make the bike. 8-) 8-)

I don't think the side view could get any better, but as you like to 'sand' things a bit, getting rid of the Easton graphics on the bars might be an idea, or getting some white logo'd 3T bars? It's hardly important though as I love it!! :xBanana6:

@ Stephen

I am looking at the Zipp SL bar with the Zipp SL Speed Stem which I think might match up with the build. The bars would be 170g and the stem would be 102g so the weight would be right in line and a bit lighter than what I currently have.

That sounds great. Your bike is definitely getting added to my 'dreambikes' screensaver at home. I think I've only ever seen one other steel bike that comes close imo

beautiful bike!!! I am having a custom steel built soon, hoping to go sub 14lb but still be sturdy enough for my fat ass (205lb)

if you switch to a Crank Bros Cobalt headset you should be able to get to sub 6kg

I have gained a bit of weight on the build due to going with the EDGE bars and stem so that gained me ~50g or so but and we have made some adjustments to the internal seat post which has gained me 30g as well. Still light enough for steel.

This thing is rad. Any hint as to what the frame cost in case I decide I need some steel awesomeness?

Well under what a custom carbon job would have cost and not that much more than a nice stock carbon frame. But this is so much sexier than carbon.

That is one sweet bike. How do you tension the bolt for the wedge for your seatpost?
