btw, I contacted NoRa and they won't sell/ship to the US. Said it was to do with warranty issues or similar.
I am currently running an AX Daedalus post with a Dash 51g saddle. Total weight is about 135g.

Where did you get the one piece saddle/seatpost combination in the photos? I am very interested in getting a similar set-up constructed but and having a hard time locating someone in the USA to do the work or someone in Europe that is willing to send to the USA...

Damo-Rider, I made the saddle in the photos, but it's truly a one-off. AX Lightness used to make one piece units but no longer. Your only option is NoRa, who told me they wont ship to the US. However you might be able to find a friend who will buy it in Europe and ship it to you (no warranty of course.)
Honestly, my Dash (51g) saddle and Daedelus (84g) saddle makes an adjustable combination that's almost the same weight (maybe NoRa can get 20g lighter).
PBrooks--I hope that inspiration turns into a really light, and wonderful bike for you! The joy is in the riding, as my outing yesterday reminded me.

I was wondering if you could share some detailed instructions on how you made the combination? I would love to do the same but don't really know where to start.
1. Did you buy a prefabricated carbon tube to create the seatpost or did you buy sheet carbon and form your own post
2. Where did you buy the carbon you used; is there a website?
3. What kind of epoxy did you use
4. How did you go about making the mold - what material was the mold made from
5. How did you dry the carbon
6. How did you fasten the saddle onto the post?

The same question appeared on a German forum a couple of weeks ago, and the consensus was that it was a bad idea, when starting to work with carbon, to start with a saddle/seatpost combo.

I'm not your mother and won't tell you what to do or not to do, but personally I'd start with easier, smaller and less critical parts, and I'd definetly not rely on it being cheap. Apparantly it's an expensive and time consuming hobby to make cf parts. I looked into it once and shyed away after foolishly following someones advice and googled vacuum pump.

Maybe you should start a "how to work with cf" thread in the diy section where more experienced people could suggest parts that are fairly easy to make, don't need a lot of material and won't hurt you if they break.
