Set off a bit later than expected this morning, but got an awesome photos of the sunrise on my ride in Perth, Australia.

Had the day off work, so I decided to sleep in and then roll the legs over along Beach road. It was a bit warm today, already over 30 when I left home and well on the way to the forecast maximum of 35. Tomorrow is forecast to hotter again and 38!

Beach road is a very popular training route for cyclists in Melbourne, Australia. Starting only a few kilometres from the CBD, it follows the east side of Port Phillip bay and offers great water views with some long streches sans lights.

Definitely! If I ever get back to the States with a bike, the Tuscon area and Colorado mountains would be at the top of the list!

The two times I was in America back in the 90's (6 1/2 months and 6 weeks on the end of 5 months in Europe) I even passed through Tuscon on a couple of occassions. Though back then I was in the country doing another type of climbing - rock!

Dalai.. funny you mention your travels in climbing days. This road is a few hundred meters from Milagrosa Canyon which has a bunch of bolted sport routes. They are the sunniest and lowest crags on the mtn making a very nice place to spend a day.

I had hiked right past this road back when that was my thing as well, around the same time (1990's).

And Mdeth there's the real estate agent's phone number so you should be good. Remember to shoot those zombies in the head when you see them zigzagging up your road.
