I just wish these saddles were a little wider. I think their widest Model is 129mm. A few more mm would probably work bette for me. :-/

I wasn't quite sure of the look when Madcow first showed these, but having now seen it on a seatpost in your photos, I do like it more, and it sure is a nice weight. However I still do love my speedneedle, so not need to change for me

hmmm thats nice. I am worried about the width though. Do you typically ride narrow (< 135mm) saddles like this or does the design let you get away with a more narrow saddle?

The largest carbon fiber saddle i had was the AX Endurance which has a width of 135mm but i didn't like the shape. After that, i used a M2 Racer and AX Phoenix so i guess i ride narrow saddles but i still have yet to find the perfect saddle for my butt. So far the Dash G.49 is great. We'll see how it goes with longer rides...

I had a Signature saddle by Samu that was based on a SLR saddle where the edges looked exactly like the ones on the DASH and it drove me nuts after about 2 hours in the saddle. I would think that this saddle would be about the same for me. I think if you have smaller legs then it might be alright. I have big legs so I need it to have a better finish at the front and rounded edges.

bman88...have you had success with any other carbon fiber saddles? We might be in the same boat

I gave up after that experience however, I am on the hunt for an AX Endurance saddle as I have been told that others with the same issue have had success with that saddle. However, unless I find one on sales or on Ebay they are too expensive.

This dash saddle looks virtually identical to the generic chinese saddles available on ebay for around $100. Same short adjustment range on the rails, same weave, same sharp edges around the nose, etc. The one I got off ebay has more of a depression for the perineal area. The weight on this saddle is quite a bit nicer though. Guess I'll have to start shaving mine down

bman88, I have the same problem you're talking about with the sharp edges on the rails. It's my only complaint about the saddle. I've been meaning to pick up something else too. There was an Endurance on ebay the other day, I almost grabbed it, but was too slow

Didn't say they had anything to do with each other, just that they looked quite similar

I did go take another look at my cheap ebay one, and the profile from the side is quite a bit different, curvier for the ebay one. Oh, and the rails are held in place by a much beefier chunk of carbon, which probably accounts for some of the weight difference.
