It's currently on my road bike but i'll also use it on my mountain bike. My G.49 is a reinforced version suitable for Road and MTB use.

What is great about Dash is they offer a 2 year defect warranty and a lifetime crash replacement program.

Also, if there is a problem, you will not have to ship it to Germany which is a big plus. That means, it won't take ridiculous time (3 months) to get your replacement.

They charge a reasonable fee of $100 for a new replacement saddle.

Two questions. What does it weigh? The second. You mention short rails. If the nose of the saddle in 180mm from the center of the seatpost clamp can it be mounted there?

Just wondering- anyone using the dash saddle..... have you had any issues w/ parts of the seatpost rubbing against your shorts and pilling or ripping the stitching? My MLD saddle didn't "cover" the seatpost clamp (much like the dash in those pics) and I ended up having to use liquid electric tape to keep the clamp parts from destroying my bibs. The AX Endurance covers those parts so there's no issue.

The weight is 53.9g. Remember this is a reinforced version for Road & MTB use. As for your other question, yes you can clamp there but if you use a pillar style post like Kcnc, Schmolke....it leaves you with only 5-6mm of adjustment.

I went only for a short ride but i didn't experience any rubbing issues.

Johnny...this thread is about Dash Saddles, Right? Yah I thought so. And for the record, I own the AX stem, handlebars, Daedelus seatpost and Endurance saddle. And I'm quite happy.

Now back to the Dash...It looks very nice. Congrats. I hope it works out for you. It's a little too narrow for my butt though

I like the idea of the Dash crash replacement policy. $100 sounds a bargain if it gets broken in a fall.

Style wise, I'm still 50/50 but after mdeths comment I do wonder if the thin edges will cause any grief to either clothing or body parts if you don't sit quite right?

Speaking of AX and Dash...will these rails fit the AX seatposts? These rails,I think, are a little thinner. Also do these saddles have that little "spring" that a saddle like the Phoenix has for that added comfort!?

Yes the Dash will fit on the AX seatposts but the top clamps will reduce the adjustement range. As the leaf springs like on the Phoenix, Dash saddles do not have that feature.
