The aluminum bowties are actually holding up very well. I have surprised actually. They are starting to wear with about 2500km on them but not a lot.

That was the only reason that I bought the saddle to get some white on the back of the build a bit.

That's a great bike! Especially using clinchers, it's a great weight and looks like a whole lot of fun to ride.
Are those cable housings lighter than Nokon regular?

How do you like the cassette? How's it work with your setup?

How many miles can you expect to get on the FL chainrings?

The next cassette that KCNC sent under warranty has about 2000km on it. The one before that only had about 1200 when the 14t tooth broke. The new one works great.

Fibre-Lyte rings have been going strong and are now the only rings I use on all my build. I have over 3000km on a pair with no issues yet.

Challenge Latex Tubes - 58g and 59g which was a 17g heavier than my Lunar Lite tubes. I am very sure that the ride quality of the tubes as well as the lower RR will be a great trade off.

Ward Ti Spindles - 27g each compared to the 51g each of the Stainless Steel versions they replaced. So the X2's now come in at 126g with aluminum butterflies. Nano weight at a very non Nano price.

So overall I was able to drop some weight and gain a bit and even the weight gain is not that bad in regards to the tubes.

Now I just have to shed 50g and it looks like it will come down to a saddle which I did not want to happen but it is very close. I also have some nice lightweight seat parts coming for the Cervelo post which will put the Cevelo post down to around 150g which would be amazing for an aero post.

I just got the aero99 saddle (in BLACK!!) from FW and so far I love it! mine came at 93g for a fully padded saddle it's great

and how much did you save cutting the seat post down?

what would be your top 4 things you did that = gram loss for $$$ ratio?

Cutting the seat post down from 300mm to 260mm save 14g and did not cost me a thing I have also changed out the rear bolt to a ti version which has dropped the weight of the post down to 166g. I also have some AX yokes and Ti bolts coming as well as a carbon cradle. Not sure what the weight savings will be but I am hoping to get the aero post down to under 150g which I would be very happy with.

I will have to drill out one of the yokes to have the bolt enter the top of the yoke since Cervelo has the post set up this way. It should not be a problem really but as mentioned it should drop a fair bit of weight since the stock cradle and top part along with the steel bolts would be used as an anchor for a small boat.
