Well I can tell you that this craddle will now be matched up with an AX Lightness yokes & ti-bolts that are being shipped from the UK so this should make for an intersting project. If everything works out and I get my WARD ti spindles, my build should be close to 5890g very soon.

I will take lots of pictures.

I think it should be fine. I will know how everything fits together once I have the parts in my hands. As mentioned I will be doing other mods at the same time but I will only use the craddle first to see the fit and check weight loss. It will be interesting to see if this carbon cradle matched up with something like a modified AX yoke and ti bolt works out. I will have to drill out the one yoke to allow the bolt to enter from the top as this is the way Cervelo does the front bolt.

I am very sure that it will arrive this week. I am farther north and west so it might take a few extra days. I have a lot of items coming in this week so maybe the post office is overwhelmed again. HA HA.

First ride with it today. Just an hour, but I hit some good cracks in the road with keeping my full weight on the saddle. I usually take my ass off the seat when I hit a bump since I have carbon rails on my Zoncolan saddle, but I wanted to see what kind of impact it would take. Everything is fine. I will carry my original cradle in my seat bag with my tools for a while, but I don't foresee a problem. If anything, the narrower bearing distance of the cradle will put more stress on the saddle rails. I would think carbon rails would fail before this cradle would fail.

I will continue with the testing though!

Weight saving is 14 grams according to my scale. Quite happy about that!
