Just thought I'd share in the joy/horror of my painted Spin!

It's been a loong wait but he painter just finished and sent me these pics.
It's a kinda drab olive in real life, finished off in a matte clearcoat.

I'll be posting a full build list and pics of finished bike as soon I get back from vacation.
The goal is a sub 6kg cross/gravelcrusher/wintertrainer.
Have everything sorted except the RAR rear wheel (Tune,Edge45) and that is getting picked up in Paris
on monday. (Thanks Adrien!)

Now the wife, the dog, the Parlee & me are heading off to Normandie!

Nice looking frame. I've liked that color since seeing it on a Speedvagen.....which begs the question: which frame is more expensive? A Speedvagen? Or a Spin?

Price does not necessarily equate to quality, coolness or exclusivity (at least in a non-snob society). It is not really a valid comparison anyways as imo they focus on different clientele. Also the Speedvagen being steel, the Intro-X carbon. Anyhow if I see it correctly a Speedvagen is $2850 for the stock version, $3500 for a custom version including fork and seatpost assembly. The Intro-X on the other hand is 5120Eur ($7300) frame only.

Uhm, I know all that. Mine was a tongue-in-cheek comment.......the Spin is olive drab......Speedvagens come in olive drab.....both are kind of exclusive........Nils you need to open the humor valve a bit more.

Not you too Tom...stop it already, why would you bother?
The PARLEE is going to be an incredible act to follow anyhow...

It's now sporting the Edge (rims built up by Adrien) and fork and is a svelte 5.3kg's.
Not bad for a fat middle aged asthamatic on blood pressure medication.
I'll send you pics of that no problem!
France is hot and gorgeous by the way. Hope you are suffering at work and that you already spend that 2 week vacation
