2010 Felt AR1

Just picked up a lightly used 2010 Felt AR1 56cm with not a mark on it.

Weighed immediately:

Frame including hanger :1250g
Fork: 371g with scope to trim a few more cm
Headset: 51g
Seatpost: 207g
Seat collar:26g

Already ordered a set of Ritchey WCS Evolution SL's bars from XXCycle.com. Will slowly build up when I find a good deal on the other required parts.

Not the lightest, but still has a BSA BB so will move over my SRM professional cranks and KCNC brakes from the Wilier. Also want to use my old Zipp 404s on the new bike as my race wheels, but still haven't got a definite answer that 11 speed Campagnolo fits on this version Zipp hub (202 model prior to the 182).

Thanks. Will be a slow build though, as I should be putting money aside for my three week holiday riding in the States later this year and not building another bike…

Having said that, I already have a set of Ritchey WCS Evolution SL bars and now also an Extralite Road OC stem on the way.

Looks very nice Dalai! Hope you'll get it build up sooner then later so you can get out and ride it :D
No idea if the new sprockets will fit your hub but don't you hate how they keep changing things like that all the time, I think I'm in the same boat as you with my lightweights ...

Was thinking of even trying SRAM Red as the Shimano/SRAM 10 speed freehub will be fine. But now with talk of SRAM also going 11 speed next year, if they also go to a wider freehub like Shimano I'll be back to square one... I don't upgrade my bikes often (still riding a mix of 2003/2005 Chorus), so don't want to buy the last year of 10 speed!

I can't wait to see it built. That's going to be a really nice bike! Just put on some used 10s stuff until the 11s comes out.

Stem came in - New Extralite Road OC stem - 120mm only 93g!

I am patient - just realized it is only 4 1/2 months to my USA riding holiday! So will hold off on the build till afterwards - only buying bits needed if they are a screaming deal.

This looks like a nice Frame. Reminds me a bit to my old Kestrel talon sl i had years ago. Was a fast one and i guess this Felt will be even better :)

Extralite Road Stem OC 120mm 93.2g

Also couldn't leave the Wilier unloved, so just ordered some carbon road bars from Planet X .

Guizzo 40cm C-C 25.8mm clamp for only ~$50 that are claimed to weigh 200g. So this teamed with a Syntace F99 stem I had spare (110g 120mm) will drop it's front end by 188g if their weight is accurate!

Plus couldn't help myself and also picked up a new Far and Near seat clamp for basically the cost of the postage - only bidder with $0.99 bid. 13g claimed vs Wilier branded clamp at 26g for $8.99... 8)
