Ultegra Di2 Push Button Switches?

Postby BikeTech » Sat Jan 28, 2012 5:27 am

Has anybody accomplished similar to what has been done in this thread with DuraAce Di2? - http://fairwheelbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7817

Thanks in advance.

The word right now is that custom buttons isn't as easy with Ultegra. It's built to be harder to hack.

Exactly, still trying to reverse engineer Ultegra DI2, but it is very hard. With the Dura Ace group you can simply cut the wire and add switches, but with Ultegra you'll need a micro-controller and some hardware.

Here's some great work someone did with the Ultegra Di2:

Unfortunately, it required gutting the levers to get the control modules out.
