Cervelo S2 2011

Postby tilburs » Sat Nov 19, 2011 5:20 pm

So had to 'retire' my Principia C24T Ellipse due to it's unique ability to be one of only about 3 frames in the world that don't allow a Quarq crank!!

7.09kg Build

Frame: Cervelo S2 2011 54cm
Forks: 3T Fundo Pro Team
Headset: Stock Cane Creek IS2
STI/Mech’s: Dura Ace 7900
Brakes: TRP970SL with Swissstop Green Pads
Stem: New Ultimate 110m
Bars: New Ultimate 42cm (Alloy)
Cages: New Ultimate Carbon
Skewers: New Ultimate
Saddle: 1.2 Saevid Composites (76g)
Cranks: FSA SL-K Quarq 170mm
Pedals: Time RXS Carbon
Rims: Velocity A23 (20h/24h)
Tyres: Vittoria Corsa CX Tech 23mm
Inners: Michelin 20/23 Latex
Hubs: Strada Wheels (the wheelbuilders)
Bar Tape: Specialized Red Roubaix
Plugs: Bontrager vibration damping thingies!
Cables: White Goodridge
Computer: Garmin 500

Bolts & clamps etc... All stock.

Shortly revisions will consist of Di2 then about 100g off the handlebars, then a chunk of grams c/o some nice wheels

Then it can get more interesting with cables, bolts, pedals etc.... :applause:

Shame about the Quarq not fiting your frame, is it the Saturn² allready?

That aside, your new ride looks the part as well.

And where did you find that blue floor?

Try to link the photo directly into the thread if you can. Really nice build though. I love the white Cervelo frames! And that's a good weight without having carbon tubulars.
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

Not sure what Quarq but spoke with them directly and it's the latest model I had and they said they didn't have any development planned on the compact or 130bcd spider in at least the next 6 months.

I'd loved to have figured that out but couldn't, when tried to add the [img] it said "unable to recognise photo size :(
