Great post goodboyr. This is the kind of cookbook instruction I need b/c now its almost impossible for me to jack this up. I'll be putting these on my TT bike. Had any experience w/ these in the rain?

I used individual glue lined heatshrink on each connection, then one big glue lined heatshrink on everything. You could probably ride the bike underwater and it would still shift! 
Use the glue lined heat shrink! I've had this setup for 6 months now, and I've done this for three others in the cycling group, no issues whatsoever.
