Di2 without Di2 shifters? Using switches only

Postby hanzo111 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 5:46 pm

Guys,

I'm wanting to use a setup with out the Shimano Di2 DA shifters.
Would it be possible to use the front and rear Derailleurs with
a harness and then use nothing more than an up/down switch
mounted on a Campagnolo Record Carbon Brake Lever without
shifting mechanisms?

I don't see why the shift lever in the assembly is needed as all the
shift lever really does is act as a switch.

Sorry in advance if it has been posted already as I didn't find it
in search

Regards,

Hanzo
