I was hoping to use Di2 sprint shifters on aerobar near built in brakes in conjunction with bar end shifters. Would the shifters function OK if I just cut the wires and place male crimp connectors to wires and plugged them into the wire that the Shimano aerobar brake/shifters would be plugged into? If not can anyone suggest a way I get do this?

Sounds like it will work. All Di2 (aside from Ultegra) shifters are just simple switches.
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?
