So here is a pic showing the new battery location. I had the speed sensor above the chainstay & now it's below it as well. With the angle of the chainstay it's more out of the wind now too.

The Cav book is really good. Enjoyed that one, an that seems like a pretty neat place to mount the battery, odd I haven't seen one like that before.

Ya, the length of the cable is perfect for that location too. I really like it there. Full bike pics once I get the new Hed decals for the rear wheel - which should be by the end of this week.

7 watts for the brakes is great. I think the only thing close to that (half of that reported but not verified) is the Simkin's EGG brakes that I am running on my P2K build. Still better than the average brake and just as strong.

you should wrap some electrical tape around the area where zip ties will be. You can cut the electrical tie down the middle to make it less thick. Else the zip ties dig into the clear coat. I find the Cervelo clear coats and paint job to be very delicate.

Regarding the Hed 3C's - I had a set of them last year, but being that I want to use them as my full time training / racing wheels I prefer clinchers. The weight sucks, but I don't want to deal with tubulars for training wheels. I like the alloy braking surface too.

Not at this time. I'll see how this option goes. I really want to pop a hole in top of the top tube just behind the stem & run the main cable inside the frame though. Maybe we can make that a nice lil' project, eh?
