cable hanger (bolt and stuff) and that cable angle and stuff?

I am 100% with you. I woke up this morning thinking that I loved the look of Version 1.0 much better. Way more sexy. This build is much better from a functional / aero point of view, but the raw sexuality of it is gone. I think what made the other version was the big white Hed logos on the wheels & the white stem with the white hoods. It just tied everything together. No white hoods for Di2 are available though & I thought that the white stem looked out of place. I might try it back out though. Also, the front Stinger 6 still has the logos on it - so I might order some new Hed logos for the H3 rear wheel. That might tighten things up.

The rear cable hanger was a necessary evil for the rear brake - it's the only one that I could find. I tried bending it into an S shape to align the rear cable better, but it didn't work with the 2 pairs of pliers I had at my office. I will buy a couple more & see if using my bench vice helps. Then it will be painted black.

Hey did you need to shave the brakes. Looking at the picture from the front, it looks like there is about a mile from brake pad to rim. Me thinks that might be your braking issue and not the pads themselves. Dude Seriously big GAP!

Ya, I shaved the pads for my front clincher wheel, which is about 22mm wide. The ride with the Blow wheels (I'm going to have some BLOW logos made for the climbing wheels to complete a "Hookers & Blow" theme) was very last minute since I just got the wheels from the post office a couple hours before the ride.

New green SS pads will be here next week so I can shave those if / as necessary. Then I will do the same with the yellow SS pads.

Pritch, the rear cable hanger is supposed to go in between the clamp, not on the outside

I tried it on the inside but it won't fit. I would have to file out the hole to be bigger so I could get the bolt in (the seat tube trailing edge hits it right now). I suppose I could try filing it....

I'll try modifying the hanger tonight. I also have to cut down the cable stop on the front hanger.

Quick though on the braking issue - am I suffering because Shimano changed the 7900/7950 brake levers to work only with their brakes? ZG changed their cam to work with these levers. Not sure if there's anything I could do about that though...

And now I am hungry for pork chops! Mmmmm....

I just got off the phone with Hed. Decals are on the way for the H3. $60 for stickers - can you believe that?

What do you think about a white saddle & white bar tape? I'm thinking it might be good for 20 sexy points.
