On a serious note, have you thought about getting some of the new OMEGA brakes. This would allow you to run the ENVE wheels and be the ENVE of the group ride. No body likes FLO!

I haven't even considered it. I love the Hookers because they are just so damn cool and retro. I love that most people have no idea what they are. Yes, wheel choices open up, but I can run the Jets so I am good. Yes, I am limited on available tire width (anything measuring 24mm or wider on the rear will have to the tire sidewall run on the inside of the brake mechanism), but again, I am running great tires, so that's OK.

I really do want more wheels though. I want the Jet disc I borrowed for the TT last week. I want some Jet 4's, some H3's, and some Scorpios too. That would be awesome. Wheels for every occasion!

Well, shit. I was finally able to look really closely at the frame yesterday and Vicky is officially cracked. Very small crack to the right seat stay, but still cracked. The damaged area is only 3" long and only 1" long where it's actually split. All at a seam in the tube.

My friend who works for Cervelo is going to walk me thru how to repair it myself though. I am kind of excited about fixing my girlfriend myself! Surgery for her is scheduled for next week - I just need to order supplies!

Oh maybe Vicky/Victoria can get a new paint job after the repair work is done. You know some scars are sexy but when you have such a beautiful woman a scar might not work. I think having a facelift to cover up a scar might be just what your lady needs. Making her even more "ONE OF A KIND SEXY LADY"

Wow, if I go tell someone that my friend overseas drove his girl-friend off the road, she got a 3 inch open wound, but instead of taking her to the hospital to get stitches he just wrapped her leg with cloth and glue via instructions over the phone I'll earn some sweet looks and the UN will have a nice WTF? phone call.

It just occured to me for the first time that you got lucky and your girl-friend is Canadian. So I'm sure she can take it.

Yup. I love that both my wife and girlfriend are Canadian, but both are indeed awesome California girls.

I'm not too familiar with current slang, California tan means she gets a new paintjob?
