I'm stepping forward, since none has dared to ask. Where are the pictures? Fanva?

Throwing in a teaser showing the frame, and then going on holiday without posting the rest of the pics. Now that's just wrong

I'm in and out of bed with what the nice french doctor called a 'gastro',
(same as the sh•ts for you folks in Boston and Arizona).
Wife says my looks improved though.
Hopes this makes you all feel better!

I don't think that would stop me. Ok, well maybe it would, but I'm still going to say it wouldn't.

Oh and for those of you that didn't know, thanks to Anders a very limited number of Spin frames will be available in the U.S.

A Spin, military green, to be ridden in the Swedish winter. Somehow it seems sacrilegious. I love it Anders! If you're short on space you could keep it in my garage.

The frame looks great Andy, best of luck with the 'gastro', that somehow sounds less great ...

What fork will you put in there?

Hey Boonen,

Thanks for your kind concern.
I felt really sorry for myself for a day or so, even more than usual.

After that It's been like this:

Image

My friend Claus, who is 65 and hard as nails forces me to do 5k uphill in 30+C, 'and nooow we klimb'!
He hates being off the bike so he spends most of his time on it, me I like to join the dog in the shade with a coke.

Oh, the SPIN has an Edge fork, Spooky carbon brakes, Edge 45 tubbies with Alchemy front (24h/2x) and Dt190 rear (24h/2x),etc,etc..

PS I also scaled 'the Muur of Huy' on my way through the Fleghm countries.
No big deal really, the Land Rover did not even need low gear :D DS

Yes, the picture is mine (that is the wife took it).
The dog belongs to both of us (the wife and me that is).
The door belongs to a house friends kindly let us use in the Perche region of France.

It's kinda old so I had to use my bike to prop it up.

Good to hear you're on the mend again and nice pictures :top:
Now how about getting that frame build up? :D

I think in weather like that I'd prefer to join the dog as well, he looks very comfortable there.

Didn't you type something else last night? :angelMrGreen:
I prefer the aluminium version as you can bend them a little to adjust brake toe in but these look nicer and are slightly lighter. You should try and get hold of some of the Heule adjustable padholders, will work a treat :D

Few more piccies before we get inundated with cool stuuf from Eurobike.
Still not done, my 'man' for the Campy stuff is in Friedrichshafen.
Weight like this - missing FD,RD, Brifters, Chain, Pedales, cables- is 4.8kg.
Pretty good for a cross.

Thats looking incredibly sexy. The brown, olive and whole matt look thing is really cool. The tires are itching to be ridden though
