Far and Near Road Brakes

Far and Near's road brake set features a classic dual pivot design with titanium hardware and carefully machined aluminum components that save weight without sacrificing functionality. While certainly not the lightest brake set on the market, the Far and Near brakes are more affordable than their counterparts and offer a greater amount of all-out stopping power than common lightweight single pivot brakes. Aesthetics have not been abandoned in this design either; the simple, clean, anodized brake arms are machined with flowing lines and understated laser-etched logos.

A slotted barrel adjuster allows for easier servicing and troubleshooting of the brakes' cable system. This is a design featured on most mountain style brakes and levers, and serves as an alternative to a standard pinch bolt quick release.

Installation
Detailed installation instructions, printed on oil resistant paper, are included with each brake set. Required tools include 4mm and 5mm hex wrenches, along with the tools required for cable service and installation.
